The outbound links checker lists every external link on a page, shows whether each is dofollow or nofollow and gives the DC Score of the linked sites.
It helps you judge how much value a page can pass and spot pages that link out too much.
How to use it
- Paste the full URL of a page.
- Press the orange button.
- Review the totals and the table of links.
Why it matters
- Pages with very many dofollow outbound links pass less value to each one.
- Links to low quality sites can be a warning sign.
- You can check that your sponsored links use the right rel tags.
Tip
On your own site, mark paid or affiliate links as sponsored, and user content links as ugc.
Questions
What is nofollow?
A hint to search engines not to pass ranking value through that link.
How many outbound links are too many?
There is no fixed number, but dozens of unrelated dofollow links on one page look unnatural.
Why are some DC Scores missing?
We only score the first set of unique domains to keep the tool fast.
